As a young girl growing up in the Northwest, Natalie drew the world around her. Inspired by gardening with her mom and reading stories with her dad, she developed a love for the created world and for a good story with beautiful pictures.

Shortly after high school, Natalie was offered a position as "Chalk Artist" for Trader Joe's Grocery Store. As a self taught artist she received on-the-job experience that taught her to develop her own style, consistently create original ideas, catch vision and enjoy meeting deadlines. She worked for Trader Joe's for 5 years until love and marriage brought her to the rolling countryside of SW Iowa.

In 2010, looking for a new medium, Natalie began experimenting with watercolor. With new freedom to create outside the advertising world she returned to her childhood love of animals, nature and storybook sweetness.

Natalie has a line of watercolors sold by and West Elm retail stores. Her art has also been seen in HGTV magazine and featured on Apartment Therapy. While she enjoys commissions and creating wall art, Natalie looks forward to someday illustrating children's books.
